ILLINOIS ASSOCIATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGES (IAALJ) IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDICIARY (NAALJ) IS OFFERING A CHALLENGE GRANT SCHOLARSHIP TO BE AWARDED AT NAALJ’s 41ST ANNUAL MEETING AND EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE IN PORTLAND OREGON, OCTOBER 11-14, 2015
As noted above, NAALJ has decided to once again offer the Affiliate Challenge Grant Award. The Illinois Association of Administrative Law Judges, Board of Directors has decided to award an additional $300.00 to supplement the base award of $500.00 designated by NAALJ for a grand total of $800.00. The grant monies are intended to be used to offset the costs of attending the NAALJ 41st Annual Meeting and Educational Conference in Portland, Oregon. Recipient’s will receive their award during the Challenge Grant Luncheon on Monday, October 12, 2015.
October is a wonderful time to visit Portland. The weather is mild and the attractions are less crowded. The conference will be held at the beautiful Downtown Embassy Suites, located in the historic district just a short distance away from some of Portland’s finest restaurants and attractions. The negotiated room rate of 189.00 for a suite is a excellent deal for attendees. It is also not too late to get a great rate on airfare.
